This Arkansas Residential Lease Agreement is generally used for terms lasting 12 months or longer. For a monthly rental agreement, see Arkansas Month-to-Month Lease Agreement.
As long as tenants are screened adequately, annual rental agreements are the preferred length of stay in the property management industry. This allows for tenants to have a fixed monthly payment that cannot change for 12 months. Read about the Arkansas laws that govern residential lease agreements here: Title 18, Subtitle 2, Chapter 16 (Landlord and Tenant).
