Existing rental agreements in Baltimore, Annapolis, Bethesda, and throughout the state can be assumed with this Maryland Residential Sublease Agreement. This document is grants the master tenant (with the landlord’s approval) to allow a subtenant to takeover possession of the rental property for the duration of their tenancy.
What Does Maryland Law Say?
§ 8-208.3 Every landlord shall maintain a records system showing the dates and amounts of rent paid to the landlord by the tenant or tenants and showing also the fact that a receipt of some form was given to each tenant for each cash payment of rent.
