This Arkansas Residential Sublease Agreement can be used by an existing tenant who wishes to vacate and lease their remaining term to a new person (subtenant). This type of agreement is often preferred by a landlord because the original tenant remains responsible for the tenancy.
In order for this agreement to be enforceable under the same Arkansas laws that govern master residential lease agreements, the landlord will be required to consent to the sublease by signing it or using the Landlord Consent Form for Sublease.
