Florida Residential Sublease Agreement

$9.95

A Florida Residential Sublease for assigning an existing lease agreement to a new tenant to finish out the remaining term. This is a 3 page PDF document.

See the Rental Application with Co-Applicant to vet subtenants.

This Florida Residential Sublease Agreement makes an existing lease assignable to another individual as long as the landlord agrees. The purpose of this form is to properly identify the tenancy being assumed and the parties involved so there is no ambiguity. Is is strongly recommended that the subtenant be thoroughly screened before being approved. If the remaining term of the original lease is longer than one year, two witnesses will be required for signing (§ 689.01).
